Dr Ester Torredelforth
Artist, Illustrator, Writer. Joined LPP in 2020.
Doctor in medieval art and illustrator, Ester Torredelforth began her apprenticeship with the acclaimed painter Pere Ripoll i Calderó at the age of 7. At such an early age, she showed a strong tendency towards medieval art, illustration and everything that surrounds it.
She developed her career at Rovira i Virgili University, where she ended her Doctoral studies in medieval fashion with a thesis titled "Catalan Female Noble Clothing from the 15th Century and its Reflection in Art".
Nowadays, she combines her artistic career with art teaching, and her activity in the medievalist research world, through several publications. Her latest works as illustrator are collaborations with acclaimed Spanish poets like Enric Lopez Tuset and Adriana G. Garcia and collaborations with publishers in Madrid like Polibea Editorial and Hyperion Ediciones.
